Smart Word Books (smartwordbooks.com) is a catalog site for the Language Series by Moncef Publishing. This page explains what information we receive when you visit or contact us, and what we do with it. We keep it simple: we collect as little as possible and we never sell it.
What we collect
When you browse. You don’t need an account to use this site, and there are no comments or sign-ups. Like almost every website, our web host keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type, date and time, and the pages requested. These are used for security and to keep the site running.
When you use the contact form. We receive your name, email address, the topic you chose, your message and your IP address. The form sends this to our email inbox so we can read and answer it. The IP address helps us spot spam and abuse.
How we use it

- To protect the site and the contact form from spam and abuse.
- To keep the site working properly.
We don’t sell, rent or trade your information, and we don’t use it for advertising. We don’t add you to a mailing list.
Spam protection
The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, a free check that tells real visitors from robots. Turnstile looks at information from your browser to decide, and Cloudflare’s privacy policy applies to that check. To limit repeat messages, the form keeps a one-way scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address with the time you sent the message, for up to 24 hours.
Cookies and analytics
This site doesn’t use advertising or tracking cookies, and we don’t use analytics tools. If that ever changes, we’ll update this page first.
Links to Amazon
Book pages link to Amazon stores. When you follow a link, you leave this site, and Amazon’s own privacy notice and cookie rules apply. We don’t receive any of your Amazon account or order information.
How long we keep it
We keep contact messages only as long as we need them to answer you and keep a record of the conversation. Server logs are kept by our web host for a limited time under its own policies. Spam-protection records are removed after 24 hours.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Just send a request through the contact form. Depending on where you live (for example the European Union, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia or California), you may have additional rights under local law, and we will honor them.
Children
This site is meant for a general audience. Some of our books are made for children, but they are bought by parents and teachers on Amazon. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us a message, please contact us and we’ll delete it.
Security
The site is served over a secure HTTPS connection, and contact messages are sent over an encrypted connection. No method of sending information online is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you send us.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version here and update the date at the top.
